hello! sorry i've been a bit incognito for the past few months, i've just had a lot on my plate and i realized that this could be my escape from the stresses and obligations that i face daily.
I missed making sets! I'm actually in the mood to write a story, but I think I may go finish my book :)
this set is for august 21st, im way too tired to write a story tonight, and I kind of want to think out where I want my character to go, so definately one tomorrow or the day afterward :) and drew van acker is the love interest because he is just too wonderful :) :) :)
What a beautiful day, the sun shining right over Diagon Alley. I curiously peered outside my window at the passer-by’s. I checked my watch and realized I didn’t have much time left and I texted Libby and Cain to meet me outside the Leaky Cauldron, from there we would apparate to Buckingham Palace and put a hex on the wing where the party would be situated tomorrow night.
I scuttled downstairs and saw Cain’s incredibly pink but beautiful hair billowing in the wind.
“Good afternoon Cain!”
“Hello Ryan, how are you?”
“Good and you.”
“Fine, but Libby won’t be able to make it, but Castielle will be joining us instead.”
Castielle, from what I heard, was a brilliant student and would probably do a wonderful job. When Castielle came out we apparated to Buckingham Palace and managed to sneak in, the party was going to be held on the side where the Queen and King won’t be residing, I did my research beforehand.
We managed to put a hex successfully and so whenever a Muggle would happen to stumble upon that wing it would appear to be empty and they would not be able to hear any of us wild party-goers. Afterward we went out to dinner in Diagon Alley. I ordered turkey and a loaf of bread while the girls shared a huge pumpkin cake. They decided to do some shopping but I felt like taking a luxurious walk through Diagon Alley.
While walking I managed to squeeze in some browsing and was completely oblivious to all that was going on around me, so I didn’t notice the large man in front of me and walked right into him, the man remained completely unfazed but I dropped some of my bags and the contents spilled out. I quickly shoved them back in to my bag and stood up to apologize to the man and immediately recognized the beautiful mop of messy hair as the one that I had seen a few days before.
“I am so sorry for that, I didn’t realize there was someone in front of me.” I quickly said.
“It’s fine, I’m George by the way.” he said. (Think Drew Van Acker, his picture is in the set.)
“Ryan Jane-Maria Finnegan, but you can just call me Ryan.” I said.
“Ahh, I was planning on it,” and he winked at me.
I laughed and he asked if I needed someone to walk me back to my home but I told him that I was staying at Leaky Cauldron, and he said he was to. As we were walking back I began to learn more about him. He was a seventh-year Gryffindor but had studied abroad in Italy for the past three years because he wanted to be with his grandfather.
When we finally reached the Leaky Cauldron we exchanged goodbyes and as I climbed the stairs to reach my room, I saw him exit the Leaky Cauldron even though he had said he stayed here. I wondered if he was going to see the Hufflepuff girl he was with the day before.
- - - August Fourteenth; Sunday. A wizard-turned-muggle-pastor has found his way into Diagon Alley this fine day. He is speaking out avidly against Wizardry, and his attitude towards any in the crowd is hardly positive. Be careful of him, for he wants to do more than just make you repent.
The sunlight flickered on the floor in front of my bed, and as I got up a pattern of light danced on my hand. I went to the window and yanked the curtains shut and pointed my wand at the ceiling and said, “Lumos,” and admired the newly lit room. It was yet another day at the Leaky Cauldron, but today I was going to venture out to Diagon Alley on my own. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and sat on the floor whilst pulling my trunk towards me. After a few minutes of mindless fumbling around, I found what I had been looking for. My little memory box. It was filled with pictures of my entire family. My favorite photograph was one of my Grandmother Hermione and Grandfather Ronald and their children standing next to my extended relative, Harry Potter and his beautiful wife. My mother and father stood next to my grandparents whilst I sat cross-legged on the floor and played with the hem of my pink frock. Sometimes I like to remember the moments before my journey to perfection and my constant struggle to remain the best witch or daughter this world has ever seen. Most of all, I missed my family and those long summer nights when I would just sit and drink tea in our sprawling estate, where I could just admire the beauty of the stars and the sky. A few hours later, I found myself staring at the entrance of Diagon Alley; I was in desperate need of tea and some pastries. I walked along the cobblestone sidewalk until I found a miniscule café wedged between Flourish and Botts and the new Quidditch Emporium. I walked inside and found a tiny booth towards the very back and picked up a menu that had been floating behind me the moment I stepped foot into the café. I pointed my wand at each item I wanted, and patiently waited for it to arrive. I pondered on what I should do next as I do have the entire day ahead of me. As I was thinking to myself a young couple walked in, I recognized the girl as being a fellow seventh-year from Hufflepuff but I never knew her name. All I could see behind her was a beautiful mop of messy hair; I wanted to get a better glimpse of his face without giving away my attraction towards him. However, this was nearly impossible since the girl was covering his face. I gave up on this hopeless commission and proceeded to enjoy my breakfast and after I finished my food I left my bill and looked outside the window of the restaurant and at the children pulling their mothers and fathers behind them, anxious to admire the newest broomstick or prank at the Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes.
horrible story....i know! i just really wanted to publish one, a better one coming tomorrow you best count on that!
- - - August Tenth; Wednesday. Welcome to Diagon Alley! With Chocolate Frogs galore and towering buildings that could make any first year squeal, it's no surprise that this glorious shopping center is the top place for Hogwarts students to shop. Today seems to be the busiest day yet, with a huge multitude of young adults in a hurry to get their things. What is supposed to be a peaceful day of getting things done turns into a complete disaster when the outgoing fifth year James decides to prank everyone - - and we mean everyone.
